CTD exposes MQM-L's Kehkashan Haider for running target killing network in Karachi
Karachi: CounterTerrorism Department (CTD) Deputy Inspector General Omar Shahid on Thursday revealed that Muttahida Qaumi Movement-London’s (MQM-L) Kehkashan Haider ran a target killing network in Karachi.
While addressing a press conference in Karachi, CTD DIG along with ranger officials explained that they conducted a joint operation in 2017 and officials arrested a team of MQM-L target killers.
Omar Shahid revealed that an intelligence based operation was ongoing after they detained the team of target killers.
Following the intelligence based investigation they found out that a woman identified as Kehkashan Haider ran a target killing network in Sindh’s capital.
The woman apparently has dual nationality and currently residing in Texas,United States (US).
The officials further disclosed that a call recording in which the woman (Kehkashan Haider) can clearly be heard instructing the target killer has also come forth.
He further unveiled that the teams follow the instructions of MQM founder Altaf Hussain and assassins were offered Rs. 50,000 in advance and up to Rs. 200,000 for killings.
Omar Shahid also urged Foreign Ministry to look into the matter.
