Three killed in Lahore road accident
Police and rescue teams reached the spot after getting information and shifted the deceased and injured to a nearby hospital.
Lahore: In an unfortunate incident, three people were killed while one sustained injuries after a dumper truck hit a motorcycle near Lahore’s Ferozepur road on Monday.
Police and rescue teams reached the spot after getting information and shifted the deceased and injured to a nearby hospital.
The deceased has been identified as Hamza Shahid, Muneeb Ahmed and Zakaria Ilyas aged between 12 and 15.
The slain children were residents of Ahata Moolchand area of Ichhra.
The police, however, arrested fugitive driver, Ahmed Ali with the help of CCTV cameras and an investigation is still underway.
In the meantime, Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar took notice to the incident and sought a detailed report from the concerned authorities, expressing heartfelt sympathy and condolences to the families of the victims.
