Islamabad: Federal Minister for Planning and Development, Asad Umar said that highest daily vaccination rate was achieved on Tuesday after over 41,000 people were administered Covid-19 jabs.

Taking to twitter, the federal minister said that out of the total vaccinations on Tuesday, 28,424 shots were given to senior citizens.
Asad Umar urged public to encourage everyone who is over 70 years old to register for the vaccination drive.
Highest daily vaccination rate of over 41 thousand vaccinations achieved yesterday. Of these 28, 424 vaccinations were carried out of senior citizens. Please encourage everyone who is 70 plus to register to get vaccinated.

Pakistan is experiencing third wave of coronavirus which is said to be deadlier and more contagious as compared to previous two waves.
According to National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), around 2,351 cases of coronavirus were reported while 61 people succumbed to the disease in the last 24 hours, taking the total death toll to 13,656.
The total number of confirmed cases reached to 612,315.
As many as 575867 patients have recovered from the disease with 1,978 critical cases.
