Pakistan has reported 309 new COVID cases throughout the country during the last 24 hours.
Islamabad: Pakistan has reported 309 new COVID cases throughout the country during the last 24 hours.
As per data shared by the National Institute of Health (NIH), the positivity ratio is 2.22% while 80 patients are in critical condition.
No death was reported from the novel virus while 13,941 Covid-19 tests were conducted across the country.
Meanwhile, a meeting was held in this regard was chaired by Minister for National Health Services, Regulations, and Coordination Abdul Qadir Patel, on the current situation of COVID-19 in Islamabad.
The Health Minister said in view of the global pandemic situation, the Central Health Establishment should stringently monitor the health status of incoming passengers at points of entry.
The Minister emphasized the importance of precautions including social distancing and mask-wearing, especially in crowded places.
