Court extends Imran Khan’s bail in foreign funding case till November 10
Islamabad: The Banking Court Islamabad extended Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan’s plea for exemption from appearance in the foreign funding case till November 10.
As per details, the banking court judge Rakhshanda Shaheen heard Khan’s plea for exception from presence in court, owing to party’s long march.
Seeking an exemption for today’s court appearance, former Prime Minister’s lawyer stated that "Imran Khan is leading a march, hence, we only request for today’s exemption as he (Imran Khan) always appears in court”.
On October 17, an Islamabad court approved the pre-arrest bail of PTI leader in the case till October 31st (today) against surety bonds of Rs100,000.
Moreover, the Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) of Islamabad heard the petition filed by Imran for bail in the terrorism case registered against him in Tarnol Police Station and granted him interim bail till November 9. The terror case was filed against him for violating section 144 and intervening in the state matters.
