Musadik Malik earlier had informed about Russia’s agreement to sell crude oil to Pakistan at a lower price.

Islamabad: Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak Monday announced that Russia will supply natural gas to Pakistan and Afghanistan under a long term plan.
The Russian deputy prime minister stated, “Moscow is ready to resume gas supplies to Europe through the Yamal-Europe Pipeline, which can supply gas to Pakistan and Afghanistan also either using the infrastructure of Central Asia, or in a swap from the territory of Iran”.
Talking to Russian news agency, Novak said that owing to gas shortage in European market, Russia is ready to restore its gas supplies.
Moscow had dispatched more than 19 Billion Cubic Meters (bcm) of Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) to Europe in 2022 which is expected to increase by the end of the December to 21 bcm.
It is pertinent to mention that Pakistan’s State Minister for Petroleum Musadik Malik earlier had informed about Russia’s agreement to sell crude oil to Pakistan at a lower price.
