The stolen items worth millions of rupees.
Lahore: Eight security cameras installed near Gaddafi Stadium Lahore for monitoring during Pakistan Super League-8 (PSL) matches had been stolen.
According to details, the stolen items include generator batteries and fiber cables for closed-circuit television (CCTV) cameras worth millions.
Two cases have been registered against the thieves at Gulberg police station. The CCTV footage shows the thieves escaping who could not be arrested.
It is pertinent to note that the deadlock between Punjab government and Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) for security expenses of PSL is also maintained.
It is reported that the board had decided that they will stick to its position and will not pay Rs250 million to the caretaker government for the security expenses which had been communicated to the authorities.
Former Chairman PCB Ramiz Raja said that if the board starts bearing security expenses, it will go bankrupt.
