Islamabad: Anti-terrorism Court (ATC) Islamabad Tuesday approved Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan’s protective bail plea in case pertaining to the violent protests outside Election Commission.

ATC judge Raja Jawad Abbas Hassan heard the case and approves the plea.

Whereas Judge Rakhshanda Shaheen of banking court also approved Imran’s bail in Prohibited Funding case. The court had ordered him to appear on February 28 in the light of Islamabad High Court's (IHC) decision.

PTI chairman reached judicial complex Islamabad to appear in four different cases along with a huge crowd where he appeared in the court.

On the occasion, severe disorder was seen as huge number of PTI workers barged into the premises of judicial complex.

This caused disruption in the security arrangements at the G11 judicial complex.

The security personnel failed to stop the activists due to which Imran Khan faced difficulty in entering the court room.

Former Prime Minister had reached Islamabad travelling from his residence in Zaman Park Lahore for court appearance in four different cases.

According to details, the travel schedule for PTI chief was changed as he travelled via motorway, instead of special airplane.

Strict security measures have been observed both in Lahore and Islamabad for former prime minister.

Huge number of party supporters reached Khans’ Zaman Park residence in Lahore to leave with his convoy for Islamabad.
