Kuwait unveils first AI generated news presenter
The robot had been named as 'Fedha'.
Kuwait: A Kuwaiti media organization has introduced a virtual anchor developed with the help of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology.
Kuwait News website shared a video featuring news anchor named ‘Fedha’ on it Twitter account.
In this video, the woman says, 'I am Fedha Kuwait's first AI-based anchor, what news do you prefer, we want to hear your opinion'.

The Kuwait News website is linked to the Kuwait Times, an English-language newspaper there, and its official, Abdullah Buftan, said the trial of AI technology would help deliver new and creative content.
He said: “In the future, this AI news anchor will present newsletters on our site's Twitter account”.
AI technology is being used in various fields of life and in many countries like China, India and now Kuwait has used it for the work of news anchors.
