‘We faced terrorists, dictators. What is worth of Imran Khan,’ says Bilawal
The PPP Chairman says his father was jailed for twelve years but no one took suo motu notice.
Karachi: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman and Foreign Minister, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, said that they faced the terrorists and the dictators, so what the worth of Imran Khan.
Bilawal criticized the Pakistani judiciary during his address to party workers on Saturday.
He claimed that his father, former President Asif Ali Zardari, was imprisoned for 12 years, but no chief justice took notice of his case nor summoned him to court. Bilawal Bhutto Zardari also noted the lack of respect shown to his grandfather, former Prime Minister Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, during court appearances.
Bilawal went on to criticize the current Prime Minister Imran Khan, referring to him as a "coward." He accused Khan of being a political terrorist who resorts to violence and intimidation. The PPP Chairman also claimed that his party had put an end to the politics of Muttahida Qaumi Movement and fought against dictatorship.
Bilawal declared that his party did not resort to violent protests, and they were confident that they could defeat their rivals through the power of the vote. He stated that they were willing to engage in talks but would not negotiate with terrorists.
The PPP Chairman also spoke about his recent visit to India, where he presented Pakistan's case before the Indian government. He asserted that they gave a befitting response to India on their soil.
His address touched on several issues, including his family's experiences with the Pakistani judiciary, his party's stance on terrorism, and their willingness to engage in dialogue.
