UAE announces long holidays on Eid
Predicting the date of Eid-ul-Fitr, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has announced five holidays on the occasion of the religious festival starting from 29 Ramadan to 3 Shawwal.
According to details, people working in the UAE will get 5 days off on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr this year.
Ramadan in UAE is likely to span for 30 days this year and according to the report of the astronomers, this time the Shawwal moon in UAE will rise on May 11, 2021, however, it will only appear on Tuesday, May 12.
According to the UAE’s official holiday calendar, residents will get Eid Al Fitr break from the 29th of Ramadan to the 3rd of Shawaal, the 10th month of the Islamic calendar.
If Ramadan lasts 29 days, the residents will have a four-day break from Tuesday, May 11, to Friday, May 14.
But if Ramadan lasts 30 days, employees in the UAE will get a five-day break from Tuesday, May 11, to Saturday, May 15.
