The finance minister continued to say that due to bad policies of the previous government, the country's economy faced difficulties.
Islamabad: Finance Minister Ishaq Dar assured that no new taxes will be imposed on agriculture and real estate.
According to details, Ishaq Dar presented the document of International Monetary Fund (IMF) agreement in the National Assembly saying that he is presenting the details of the agreement with IMF in the House.
He added: “The purpose is that members of parliament can know the details and transparency can be maintained,” saying that all the documents are also available on the website of Ministry of Finance, while the copies of these documents are also being sent to the library of National Assembly Secretariat.

“The ninth review of the IMF was to be held in November 2022, tenth in February 2023 and the eleventh in 2023, however, due to the credibility gap, the ninth review was delayed,” said the minister.
Ishaq Dar further said that no tax will be imposed on agriculture and real estate. Pakistan's reserves have reached 14 billion dollars, 5.3 billion dollars are with private banks while 8.7 billion dollars are with the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP).
