In their recent match, Pakistan Shaheens defeated Sri Lanka A by 60 runs, storming into the ACC Men's Emerging Cup final at the Paikiasothy Saravanamuttu (PSS) Stadium on Friday.
Batting first, Pakistan posted a massive total of 322, largely owing to Omair Yousuf's scintillating 88 off 79 balls and Mohammad Haris' quickfire 52 off 43 balls. In response, Sri Lanka A's batting attack faltered, with Avishka Fernando and Sahan Arachchige top-scoring with 97 runs each. However, they fell short of the target and were bowled out for 262.
For the Shaheens, Arshad Iqbal impressed with a five-wicket haul (5-37), while Mubashir Khan (2-45) and Sufiyan Muqeem (2-44) picked up two wickets each. Amad Butt (1-36) also contributed with a wicket.
