Bomb Disposal Squad gets new vehicles in Punjab
Caretaker chief minister stated that modern equipment training will also be organized for bomb disposal squad.
Lahore: Punjab caretaker government took an important initiative to protect the lives and property of the people living in the province and prevent subversive activities in a timely manner for which the bomb disposal squad has been equipped with the latest vehicles.
According to details, the Caretaker Chief Minister of Punjab, Mohsin Raza Naqvi, handed over 16 new bomb disposal response vehicles and modern equipment to the Bomb Disposal Squad at the Civil Secretariat worth Rs160.27 million.
Mohsin Naqvi praised the initiative of equipping the bomb disposal squad with modern equipment saying, “In the current situation, the importance of civil defense has increased more than before. Vehicles equipped with modern facilities and equipment will further enhance the capabilities of the bomb disposal squad”.
He stated that modern equipment training will also be organized for bomb disposal squad.
Caretaker Chief Minister of Punjab has also informed that new bomb disposal response vehicles will be deployed in Bhakkar, Chiniot, Gujarat, Hafizabad, Jhelum, Khanewal, Khushab, Leh, Mandi Bahauddin, Muzaffargarh, Nankana Sahib, Okara, Pakpattan, Sheikhupura, Toba Tek Singh and also to the districts of Wahari.
