Media coverage fees imposed on metro bus, orange line train stations
Punjab Mass Transit Authority (PMA) to impose media coverage fees on the metro bus, and orange line train stations.
Lahore: The Punjab Mass Transit Authority has announced the imposition of media coverage fees on Metro Bus and Orange Line Train stations.
According to the Mass Transit Authority, media outlets will be required to pay a fee for coverage, and the decision to grant permission will be made accordingly.
A categorization of 26 stations on the Orange Line has been established.
Category A includes 8 stations, with a coverage fee of PKR 246,000 per station.
Category B, comprising 10 stations, will require a fee of PKR 185,000 per station.
Additionally, Category C, consisting of 8 stations, will have a coverage fee of PKR 124,000 per station.
Media outlets covering the Metro Bus service will also need to pay a fee of PKR 124,000.
The fee structure has been introduced to regulate media access and ensure responsible coverage of the public transport services in the region.
