Islamabad: Pakistan is presently experiencing the third wave of coronavirus which is said to be deadlier and more contagious than previous two waves.

According to National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), around 4,414 cases of coronavirus were reported while 113 people succumbed to the disease in the last 24 hours, taking the total death toll to 18,070.
The total number of confirmed cases reached to 829,933.
As many as 722,202 patients have recovered from the disease with 5,448 critical cases.
Punjab
The number of patients swelled to 304,889 in the province with 8,550 causalities.
Sindh
The number of infections has surged to 284,738 in the province, while the death toll has reached 4,658.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
The confirmed cases have surged to 119,277 in the province with 3,350 casualties.
Balochistan
There are 22,528 confirmed cases while 237 patients have died from the infection so far.
AJK and Gilgit-Baltistan
There are 17,297 coronavirus cases in the AJK while the death toll has reached 477. On the other hand, there are 5,312 cases in GB with 107 coronavirus deaths.
Islamabad
There are 75,892 cases in the capital city while 691 people have lost their lives.
