Kyiv: High-ranked military officers fired in Ukraine over bribery allegations.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that all 24 accused recruitment chiefs have been fired for accepting bribes for army recruitment.
The investigation of bribery accusations was launched last month after a corruption scandal at a recruitment office was revealed in the Odessa army recruitment center.
To dig deep into the facts, the officials investigating the case opened a number of criminal cases during the investigation.
