Interim PM Anwar-ul-Haq summons important meeting for economy
The Ministry of Finance, Federal Bureau of Revenue (FBR) and related institutions will brief Prime Minister regarding the issues.
Islamabad: Caretaker Prime Minister Anwar-ul-Haq Kakar Tuesday called an important meeting related to the economic condition of Pakistan, reportedly.
According to media reports, the overall situation of the country's economy will be reviewed in the meeting.
The Ministry of Finance, Federal Bureau of Revenue (FBR) and related institutions will brief Prime Minister regarding the issues.
In the meeting, program of international Monetary Fund (IMF) and future strategy will also be considered. The caretaker prime minister will also be briefed regarding ongoing program of the IMF.
It should be noted that the Caretaker Prime Minister Anwar took over the duties of the Prime Minister yesterday (Monday).
Anwar-ul-Haq took oath as the eighth Caretaker Prime Minister of Pakistan, in a ceremony held at the President House. President Dr. Arif Alvi took the oath of office from Anwar, while senior military and political officials participated in the ceremony.
After taking the oath of caretaker Prime Minister, former Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif left the PM House. Kakar saw off Shehbaz Sharif who was also presented guard of honor by the armed forces.
