The interim premier noted that Pakistan and Saudi Arabia have a long history and a strong bond.


Islamabad: Ambassador of Saudi Arabia to Pakistan Nawaf bin Said Al-Malki called on caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar in Islamabad on Wednesday.
The Saudi Ambassador wished the interim Prime Minister well on behalf of Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman and the Saudi people and congratulated him on taking office.
The interim premier noted that Pakistan and Saudi Arabia have a long history and a strong bond.
He highlighted that the recently established Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) would carry on with its current operations and build the groundwork for the expedited processing of foreign investments, notably those from Saudi Arabia.
Furthermore, as prospective areas for cooperation, he mentioned energy, infrastructure, agriculture, IT, and human resources.
Caretaker PM Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar thanked the Saudi government for its consistent support to Pakistan’s economic stability and development.
Additionally, Kakar particularly mentioned the large number of Pakistanis working in Saudi Arabia and requested the Saudi side to continue to extend all possible facilitation to them.
The PM praised the leadership of Saudi Arabia for having a clear vision and assured them that Pakistan would always be a dependable and trustworthy partner.
The Saudi Ambassador reaffirmed that Pakistan and Saudi Arabia share a familial bond that is marked by mutual trust and close collaboration on all bilateral and regional matters of importance.
