He denied that he had called anyone and asked them to go on a rampage on May 9.

Lahore: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman and former prime minister has dissociated himself from the people involved in the May 9 riots.
Following the arrest of the PTI chairman in the Al-Qadir Trust case from the grounds of the Islamabad High Court on May 9, riots erupted across Pakistan.
According to sources, the joint investigation team formed to investigate the May 9 incidents, questioned the PTI chairman Imran Khan in six cases in Attock Jail on Friday.
The former premier stated to the JIT team, which was led by DIG Investigation, that he was being held in custody, had no phone, and couldn't possibly instigate violence.
He denied that he had called anyone and asked them to go on a rampage on May 9.
According to sources, the JIT briefed the PTI chairman that there were videos showing protesters shouting his name. He claimed not to have provoked anyone. The populace traveled independently to the cantonment areas.
He denied that people involved in vandalism were PTI workers. “The attackers are not workers of my party, they are someone else.”
