In this regard, Fawad Hasan said: “I have not been given the charge of any department yet, I will meet the Prime Minister tomorrow”.

Islamabad: Former Bureaucrat and Principle Secretary of former Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, Fawad Hasan Fawad has been appointed as caretaker federal minister.
President Dr. Arif Alvi appointed Fawad Hasan Fawad following the advice of Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar.
In this regard, Fawad Hasan said: “I have not been given the charge of any department yet, I will meet the Prime Minister tomorrow”.
Fawad added that whatever responsibility I get, I will try to fulfill it with honesty and hard work.
He stated: “My past is a witness that I have always worked honestly and diligently in the national interest, I will try to do the same in future”.
The newly appointed federal minister also said that he will work according to his full potential.
It is pertinent to note that National Accountability Bureau (NAB) had arrested Fawad Hasan Fawad in the case of excessive assets beyond income, in which NAB had miserably failed to prove corruption against him and the court had acquitted him in NAB reference.
