The court sent the former health minister to a 14-day judicial remand in jail.
Lahore: The Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) has approved former Health Minister Dr. Yasmin Rashid's petition for cancer treatment.
Dr. Yasmin Rashid, a PTI leader, had submitted an application to the court seeking permission for cancer tests to be conducted at Services Hospital.
The Anti-Terrorism Court has accepted her application and ordered the jail authorities to facilitate the cancer tests at Services Hospital.
Yasmin Rashid will be transported to the hospital for the necessary medical examination.
Additionally, Judge Abhar Gul Khan of the Anti-Terrorism Court presided over the case related to Yasmin Rashid's speech against institutions on Sherpao Bridge and charges of arson stemming from the May 9 incident.
The court subsequently remanded the former minister to judicial custody for a period of 14 days.
