Punjab govt announces public holiday on Sept 29
12 Rabi-ul-Awwal, September 29 (Friday) will be a public holiday due to which all government institutions will be closed.
Lahore: The Punjab government Friday announced the public holiday on Eid Milad-ul-Nabi.
According to the notification, September 29 (Friday) will be a public holiday due to which all government institutions will be closed. The notification of the holiday on September 29 has been sent to all departments.
Earlier, the federal government had declared a public holiday on September 29 on the occasion of Eid Milad-ul-Nabi.
According to the announcement of the Central Sighting of Crescent Committee, the blessed month of Rabi-ul-Awwal started on Monday, September 18. Eid Milad-ul-Nabi will take place on September 29.
There will be a public holiday on the twelfth of Rabi'ul Awwal, while all federal government institutions and all private institutions and schools that have a holiday on Saturday and Sunday will also have a holiday on Saturday (September 30) and Sunday (October 01).
