The meeting discussed progress on various programs with the cooperation of Japan International Cooperation Agency.


Lahore: Caretaker Punjab Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi said the Punjab is seeking Japan's technical support for the development of the province.
He stated this during a meeting with the Ambassador of Japan to Pakistan Mr. Wada Mitsuhiro in Lahore today (Monday). The chief minister continued: “With the cooperation of Japan, we will uplift museums of Taxila and Lahore”.
The chief minister added that Japanese expertise in technology is undeniable and Japan has a significant niche in the auto industry and we want technical cooperation to make electric bikes.
The meeting discussed progress on various programs with the cooperation of Japan International Cooperation Agency.
Japanese ambassador assured the Punjab Chief Minister of technical assistance saying that he will continue to cooperate with the Punjab government in museum, culture and other fields.
Provincial Minister for Information and Culture Aamir Mir, Chief Secretary, Senior Member Board of Revenue, Secretary to Chief Minister, Deputy Commissioner and other relevant officials were also present on this occasion.
Besides Honorary Consul General of Japan Aamir Shirazi and First Secretary and Head of Political Section Nabucuni Shinohara also attended the meeting.
