Steel price witnesses further hike
The new price of steel has reached Rs295 per kg and Rs2,95,000 per ton.
Karachi: Due to the current economic situation in Pakistan, where everything has come under the influence of rising inflation, the prices of construction materials have also started skyrocketing. Like other materials the trend of increase in price of steel also continues across the country.
According to the details, after an increase in the price of construction steel in the country, the new price has reached Rs295 per kg and Rs2,95,000 per ton.
It is pertinent to note that the cost of construction materials has increased enormously across the country, after which the construction industry has reached the brink of collapse. The prices of gravel and cement used in construction have also skyrocketed.
People associated with the construction sector said that due to the daily increase in the prices of goods, it has become difficult to make a budget for building a house. And due to the high cost of gravel, cement, concrete, and bricks, the construction contract is also increasing abnormally. The construction work in the small towns is not like what it used to be.
