Aiden Markram will take place as the team's leader during Temba Bavuma's absence.

Hyderabad: Temba Bavuma, the captain of the South African cricket team, has made the decision to return home from India just before the ICC Cricket World Cup.
This unexpected move is attributed to personal family reasons, which have necessitated his absence from the upcoming World Cup warm-up matches.
The South African team had originally scheduled warm-up games against Afghanistan and New Zealand to fine-tune their preparations for the prestigious tournament.
However, in Bavuma's absence, Aiden Markram will take the helm as the team's leader during these practice matches.
The South African cricket squad had recently arrived in India to participate in the World Cup, gearing up for the highly anticipated tournament set to commence on October 5th.
