Kashmir: Kashmiri people on both sides of the Line of Control (LOC) are observing Black Day today (Friday) to mark the completion of 76 years of Indian military occupation of Kashmir.
On the completion of 76 years of India's usurpation of a large part of Jammu and Kashmir, caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar said in his special message that on 27 October 1947, India landed its troops in Occupied Kashmir.
India has started a nefarious campaign since August 5, 2019 which is in violation of Security Council resolutions and Geneva Convention, he added.
In the memory of Indian Illegal occupation of Kashmir, the people started protesting against Indian military occupation at 12 midnight and took out a torch-carrying rally in Muzaffarabad.
The protesters raised black flags in their hands and shouted slogans against the Indian military occupation.
On this occasion, the protestors said that for 76 years, India has suppressed the freedom of Kashmiris by force.
“The United Nations had promised to give the right of self-determination to the Kashmiris, now it should play its role to give the right of self-determination to the Kashmiris,” protesters demanded.
