Former Balochistan chief minister Abdul Quddus Bizenjo was removed from the post on Saturday.


Quetta: Khalid Magsi has been elected as the president of the Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) on Sunday.
The development occurred during the party's general council meeting, when Abdul Karim Agha and Magsi submitted their candidacy papers for the position.
Agha withdrew his nomination for the party's top position, leaving Magsi to win the election without opposition.
Former Balochistan chief minister Abdul Quddus Bizenjo was removed from the post on Saturday.
"The party has witnessed various challenges over the past five years, including witnessing mistakes and facing political crises in the country," Magsi said in an address to the party's central general council.
BAP has made a significant contribution despite these conditions," he continued.
