PML-N Supreme leader Nawaz Sharif and PPP Co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari made this decision during a telephonic conversation.

Lahore: In preparation for the upcoming general elections, the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), former coalition partners in the Pakistan Democratic Movement-led government, have once again joined forces to make critical decisions for the state.
PML-N Supreme leader Nawaz Sharif and PPP Co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari made this decision during a telephonic conversation.
Zardari also extended his congratulations to Nawaz Sharif on his return to Pakistan.
Both the leaders shared the view that all stakeholders must play a role in preserving the state, and they are committed to making vital decisions to alleviate the economic hardships faced by the public due to inflation.
The sources suggested that an important meeting between these influential political figures will be convened in the near future. Notably, the PML-N is already in full election mode, with Nawaz Sharif's call to Asif Zardari aligning with the party's election campaign. It's reported that Nawaz Sharif plans to hold meetings with leaders from various political parties as well.
According to the insiders, Nawaz Sharif will embark on an extensive tour of all four provinces, commencing with a public rally in Mansehra after November 10. Following his impactful address during the Lahore rally on October 21, where he set the tone for the upcoming elections, the former prime minister is now preparing to flex his political muscle formally, beginning next week.
Pakistan Peoples Party is also gearing up for an extensive campaign across Pakistan. PPP leader Asif Zardari has announced that his party will enter the political arena with a robust manifesto for the upcoming general elections.
