Govt taking multidimensional steps to improve quality of education: Madad Ali

Islamabad: Three-day National Reading Conference, Book Fair and Pakistan Learning Festival began in Islamabad on Saturday.

The event has been organized by Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training in collaboration with Idara e Taleem-o-Aghai and National Book Foundation under the theme "Today's Readers, Tomorrow's Learners”.
Addressing the opening ceremony, the Minister emphasized on promoting the culture of reading among the youth and termed the event significant in this regard.
He said the only way to progress is through education.
The Minister said improving the quality of education and reducing the number of out of school children is his top most priority.
The activities during the three-day event include animated story of the books, Storytelling: Suno Kahani Meri Zubani, Dadi Gulabi Singing & Song writing, Interactive performances, Creating Desi Characters and the Art of bookmaking.
Screen Plays, Dance, Musical performances and Dramas will also be part of the event.
