Children around world are lured by e-cigarettes: WHO

Geneva: The World Health Organization (WHO) warned that children around the world are being lured into the trap of e-cigarettes.

According to WHO, children are getting addicted to nicotine by using e-cigarettes. They are being attracted to e-cigarettes through social media.

With more than 16,000 flavors of e-cigarettes being marketed, the World Health Organization said urgent action is needed to prevent children from becoming addicted to e-cigarettes.

The WHO added that e-cigarettes are absolutely not helping to quit smoking, and there is no age limit for their sale in 88 countries around the world.

According to the World Health Organization, there is no law related to e-cigarettes in 74 countries of the world. E-cigarettes are also causing cancer, heart, lung and mental diseases.

The WHO continued to say that that stricter legislation and enforcement is needed to stop the sale of e-cigarettes.
