Anwaar-ul-Haq further said that Pakistan will advocate for the rights of Kashmiri people at the forefront.
Muzaffarabad: Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar Friday said Kashmir has never been and will never be part of India.
Addressing a news conference in Muzaffarabad, he stated the resolution of Jammu and Kashmir dispute lies only in plebiscite in accordance with the UN Security Council Resolutions. No Indian court or assembly can decide the future of the Kashmiris.
The Prime Minister added India's illegal and unilateral actions in Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) has only further given stimulation to the Kashmiri freedom struggle. The Indian stance on Kashmir has not been accepted by the world community, said Kakar.
Paying tributes to the sacrifices of Kashmiri people, the Prime Minister said India cannot suppress the big cause of Kashmiri people for their right to self-determination.
Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar continued to say: “We consider the residents of IIOJK as the potential citizens of Pakistan. We will not allow the trampling of their rights”.
Alluding to his detailed consultative meeting with the Kashmiri leadership in Muzaffarabad, the Prime Minister said it has been decided that another round of talks will be held in Islamabad.
Anwaar-ul-Haq further said that there will be regular contacts with the Kashmiri leadership in order to present the stance of oppressed Kashmiri people more effectively at the world level. Pakistan will advocate for the rights of Kashmiri people at the forefront.
Responding to a question, Anwaar-ul-Haq assured to fully support Azad Kashmir government in completion of ongoing projects and initiation of new ones. For this purpose, he said a cabinet committee has also been constituted.
