Umar Dar's mother Rehana Dar alleged in a video message that her son Umar was abducted to stop her from contesting in the election.


Lahore: The spokesperson of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) claimed that party leader Usman Dar's brother Umar Dar has been arrested from Lahore.
According to details, PTI leader Umar Dar from Sialkot was arrested from a restaurant in Lahore. Police stated that Umar Dar is wanted by the police in five cases of incitement and anti-state sloganeering in May 9 cases.
Umar Dar's mother Rehana Dar alleged in a video message that her son Umar was abducted to stop her from contesting in the upcoming general election.
On the other hand, a petition was filed in the Lahore High Court (LHC) against the alleged abduction of Umar Dar, in which Inspector General (IG) Punjab, Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Lahore and others have been made parties.
It has been stated in the petition that Umar Dar went to a private hotel for dinner last night where more than 40 people, including men in police uniform, abducted him. The court should orders the recover6y and production of Umar Dar in the court.
