Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has announced the schedule of new gas prices for Sui northern and Sui Southern.


Islamabad: The government has issued a notification regarding the new hike of gas in which 67 percent extra charges would be implemented due to the International Monetary Fund’s (IMF) condition.
According to the details, protected consumers will be given 400Rs fixed charges and 40Rs as the meter rent per month.
Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has announced the schedule of new gas prices for Sui northern and Sui Southern.
Moreover, the minimum price of gas would be 200Rs for the domestic consumer’s protected category and the maximum price would be 350Rs per mmbtu.
The minimum amount of gas price would be 500Rs for the non-protected category of domestic consumers and the maximum amount would be 4300Rs per mmbtu.
Non-protected consumers will be given 1000 to 2000Rs per month as fixed charges. Apart from that, the gas prices would be 2900Rs per mmbtu for bulk meters, capito power.
The minimum gas amount would be availed in 100Rs to Roti makers and maximum 700Rs per mmbtu. The fixed gas prices for commercial consumers would be 3900Rs mmbtu per month.
For the auto vehicle sector that runs on gas, fixed charges for gas prices would be given 3750Rs to them.
