Islamabad: The representative of International Monetary Fund (IMF) in Pakistan Esther Perez said in response to Imran Khan's letter that IMF does not comment on local and political issues.
In a statement, IMF representative Esther Perez stated that the IMF received a letter from Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on February 28 which is related to Pakistan's loan program.
Esther Peres added that IMF is an international organization whose mandate is limited to economic issues, therefore, it does not comment on local and political issues.
The IMF representative continued to say that our engagement with Pakistan is aimed at financial stability. Our aim is sustainable and inclusive growth for the benefit of the citizens. It is also to support the implementation of strong policies.
