Shahram Sarwar Chaudhry heard the case against Azam Khan Swati.


Lahore: The Lahore High Court (LHC) has ordered to provide details of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) leader and senator Azam Swati’s detention.
According to the details, justice Shahram Sarwar Chaudhry heard the case against Azam Khan Swati.
On court order, deputy secretary home Punjab Afzal Bashir appeared in the court and submitted the report.
Afzal Bashir stated that there is no order against Azam Swati’s detention then the court disposed of the plea of Azam Swati in the light of home department’s report.
Court expressed indignation on home department law officer on giving vague response in the court and remarked that the court expected good arguments from law officers but you came here without any preparations.
Police officials submitted a report in court in which six cases are filed against Azam Swati in Lahore whereas four are filed in Faisalabad.
Azam Swati’s lawyer said that the applicant is high qualified and a renowned political personality. He was apprehended while acting against PTI and the violence was done on applicant.
He further said that the details of cases in Punjab against Azam Swati is not providing him so it is pleaded to the court to provide the details of cases against Azam in Punjab.
