Rawalpindi: Four Frontier Corps (FC) personnel were martyred and eight others got wounded in two separate terrorist attacks in Quetta and Turbat, said the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) late Monday.

According to a statement issued by ISPR, an FC post near Pir Ismalil Ziarat in Quetta was targeted by terrorists.
As per in the first incident, some unidentified terrorists attacked FC check post near Pir Ismail Ziarat in Quetta during which four FC personnel were martyred and six were wounded.
Four to five terrorists were also killed in exchange of fire while seven to eight were injured.
“Exchange of fire continues. 4-5 terrorists killed while 7/8 are injured. During an exchange of fire 4 brave FC soldiers embraced shahadat [martyrdom] while 6 soldiers got injured,” said military's media wing.
“Such coward acts by inimical elements backed by anti-state forces and HIAs [hostile international agencies] cannot sabotage the hard-earned peace and prosperity in Balochistan,” the statement added.
In the second incident that occurred in Turbat, terrorists used explosive material to target an FC vehicle in which two FC officials sustained serious injuries.
Security forces are determined to neutralise their nefarious designs even at the cost of blood and lives, the ISPR added.
