Bangladesh announces T20 World Cup squad

Dhaka: Bangladesh has announced the squad for the T20 World Cup 2024, the team will be led by Najam-ul-Hussain Shanto.

Bangladesh has announced the squad for the T20 World Cup 2024 starting from June 1.

Najam-ul-Hussain has been appointed as the captain. The squad also includes veteran all-rounder Shakeeb-ul-Hasan, who has returned to T20 cricket after a gap of almost a year.

Bangladesh has been placed in Group D alongside South Africa, Sri Lanka, the Netherlands and Nepal for next month's event, with Bangladesh's first match against Sri Lanka in Dallas on June 7.

There are no big surprises in Bangladesh's 15-member squad for the T20 World Cup.
