Karachi: The Pakistani rupee had no change in value against the US dollar in the interbank market on Wednesday, settling at 278.30 against the greenback.
According to the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), the local unit had closed at 278.30, up by six paise on Tuesday. The rupee's price also remained unchanged in the open market and settled at Rs279.59.
In recent weeks, the local currency has largely been around 277-278 against the greenback.
The US dollar steadied on Wednesday as traders pared back on riskier bets in emerging markets while waiting on an interest rate decision in Canada and on US services data.
