Sindh cabinet approves 20pc raise in govt employees' salaries: Murtaza
Karachi: Adviser to the Sindh Chief Minister Murtaza Wahab has said that the provincial government has approved 20 per cent raise in the salaries of government employees.
Taking to twitter, the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader announced that the cabinet has also set minimum wage at Rs. 25,000 in the province.
“No new tax is being introduced by Sindh government,” he added.

Earlier, Sindh cabinet approved the budget for FY 2021-22 with an outlay of over Rs 1.477 trillion in meeting chaired by Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah.
Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has also approved the demands for grants and supplementary grants for the new financial year.
Senior Member Board of Revenue Alam-ud-Daan, Finance Secretary Hassan Naqvi, Chairman SBR Khalid Mahmood, Excise Secretary Haleem Sheikh briefed the cabinet on revenue collection.
