Two suspects sending people to UK using fake documents arrested in Karachi
Accused were arrested by Anti-Human Trafficking Circle, who were running a consultancy firm called IMGRA Limited.
Karachi: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), while operating on Tariq Road, Karachi, arrested two suspects named Umar Asim and Haris Khan involved in sending 40 citizens with fake travel documents to the UK.
According to the statement released by the spokesperson FIA, the accused were arrested by the Anti-Human Trafficking Circle, who were running a consultancy firm called IMGRA Limited.
According to the statement, the arrested accused issued a UK employment visa to a citizen by pretending to be a forged healthcare firm. The accused collected a total of Rs7 million from the complainant and issued a total of 40 visas to the citizens in the name of a fake company.
During the raid, cheque books, stamp paper, visiting cards, laptops, mobile phones, and various travel documents were recovered from the accused.
Apart from this, laptops, mobile phones, and several travel documents have also been recovered from the accused.
According to the spokesman, raids are being conducted to arrest other accomplices of the accused.
