Imran Khan offers conditional apology on May 9 incidents
Imran Khan says he will not only take action against the May 9 perpetrators but will get them out of the party
Islamabad: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Founder and former Prime Minister Imran Khan on Wednesday offered conditional apology on May 9 incidents.
“I will take action against all those who are involved in May 9 incidents and will get them out from the party,” said Imran Khan in the latest statement.
Imran Khan said that all those who have been identified in the footages related to May 9 incident should be brought to Justice.
During a conversation with journalists at Adiala Jail, Imran Khan insisted that the CCTV footage from May 9 be released first. He stated that if PTI members are found to have participated in the events of May 9, he will apologize and take action by expelling them from the party and ensuring they are punished.
Imran Khan also claimed that the Rangers mistreated him, showing a lack of respect for him as a prominent figure in Pakistan and globally. He questioned, “Don’t I deserve an apology?”
It should be noted that Imran Khan recently declared that there would be no negotiations with the government or military outside of court until their majority in the elections is recognized.
