Barrister Gohar says Raoof Hasan hasn't done anything illegal
He says party’s spokesperson is known for his writings in various newspapers
Islamabad: PTI chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan defended Raoof Hasan on Monday, stating that his interactions with foreign journalists are entirely legal and routine.
Speaking outside the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), Gohar Ali Khan emphasized that Raoof Hasan, an educated individual known for his writings in various newspapers, naturally engages with other journalists.
The PTI chief also reaffirmed the party's commitment to fully participate in the upcoming local bodies elections in Islamabad, encouraging candidates to submit as many nomination papers as possible.
Gohar Ali Khan took a swipe at the Punjab Government, accusing it of diverting funds from development projects to reduce electricity rates in the province. He added that the current Punjab leadership has failed to manage electricity prices effectively.
