Punjab all sets to outsource 14,000 public sector schools
Cm Maryam says issues of schools can only be resolved through public-private partnership
Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz on Wednesday announced to outsource at least 14,000 public sector schools in province.
Addressing an event in Lahore, CM applauded the education ministry and his team for doing remarkable work.
Chief minister said, “We have taken various steps to improve the quality of education in schools. The government is trying to provide relief to the masses,”
Maryam added that the issues of schools can only be resolved through public-private partnership.
She said that there was corruption of Rs1 billion in Punjab Text Book Board during the tenure of PTI.
Maryam demanded a corruption case to be registered against the former education minister of PTI.
