Speaker Punjab Assembly ruled that the smog situation cannot be ignored

Lahore: Speaker Punjab Assembly Malik Muhammad Ahmad Khan called a special session on Wednesday, calling the smog situation extremely dangerous.
The Speaker of the Punjab Assembly ruled that the smog situation cannot be ignored and that all the members of the Assembly should ensure their attendance at the meeting on this public issue.
In the meeting, government members belonging to minorities piled complaints against the provincial minister for minority affairs, saying that security is not being provided at places of worship of minorities and various events.
Government member Hamida Wahiduddin presented a resolution on incidents of mistreatment of transgenders and dancers in marriage ceremonies, which the Speaker handed over to the committee.
The Speaker of the Punjab Assembly was also angry at the destruction of infrastructure due to corruption, nepotism, and illegal contracts in the Department of Minerals.
