Security forces are conducting clean-up operation to eliminate more Khawarij in the area


Rawalpindi: Security forces conducted an Intelligence-Based Operation (IBO) in the Spin Wam area of North Waziristan on information about the presence of Khawarij and effectively targeted their hideout. After a fierce exchange of fire, four Khawarij were killed.
According to the ISPR, weapons and ammunition were also recovered from the slain Khawarij. They were involved in terrorist acts against foreign security forces and target killings of innocent civilians.
The ISPR said that the security forces are conducting a clean-up operation to eliminate more Khawarij in the area. Pakistan's security forces are determined to completely eradicate the scourge of terrorism.
It is pertinent to note that yesterday, security forces killed eight Khawarij during two different operations in different areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
According to the ISPR, an IBO was conducted in Tank on information about terrorists in which six Khawarij were killed.
ISPR stated that security forces conducted a second operation in the Tirah Valley of Khyber District, in which two were killed.
