He will discuss animal rights in his five-minute vlog

Lahore: Judicial Magistrate Lahore sentenced TikToker and YouTuber Rajab Butt to community service for keeping a lion cub.
The Judicial Magistrate of Lahore sentenced Rajab Butt to community service for keeping a lion cub illegally. A wildlife officer had filed a complaint against him, which he admitted.
According to the decision of the Judicial Magistrate, Rajab will provide community service under the supervision of a probation officer for one year. He will discuss animal rights in his five-minute vlog which will be uploaded in the first week of every month after the permission of the probation officer. The vlog will discuss animal protection and rights.
The court directed the Wildlife Department to provide all materials on animal protection to Rajab Butt. The decision further stated that if the probation officer summons Rajab Butt in person, he will be bound to appear. In case the decision is not implemented, a report will be submitted to the court.
TikToker Rajab said in a statement that he admitted that he illegally possessed a lion cub. He was not aware that wild animals could not be received as gifts. Now he understands that it is inappropriate to keep wild animals in these circumstances. He regrets his actions.
As a social media influencer, he should create positive content. He was not authorized to keep a lion cub and set a wrong example by doing so. Realizing his mistake, he will voluntarily provide community service through his social media platform and spread a positive message about the rights of wild animals. He leaves himself at the mercy of the court, added Rajab.
