At least two people were killed and around 20 other had been gone missing after mud swept through the town of Atami in Central Japan on Saturday.

Rescuers and witnesses said dark wave of mud swept through the town of Atami in central Japan, killing at least two people.
Dozens of houses were destroyed and around 20,000 households were ordered to evacuate. The rescue operation was continiung.
The torrential rains, which has affected the Japanese prefectures of Kanagawa and Shizuoka, caused a huge landslide in Atami city, damaging houses, bridges and roads.
