First time female police officer appointed as manager of Pakistan men's cricket team
Hina will serve as operations manager during Champions Trophy starting on Feb 19


Lahore: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has made history by appointing Hina Munawar as the first female manager of the national men's cricket team.
In a historic move ahead of the Champions Trophy, the PCB has appointed Hina Munawar, the chief security officer for the women's cricket team, as the manager of the Pakistan men's cricket team.
Hina will serve as the operations manager during the Champions Trophy starting on February 19 and will also supervise the team during the tri-nation series starting on February 8.
It is pertinent to note that Hina Munawar belongs to the police group and has been appointed for a period of two years.
Last year, she was also named the manager of the Pakistan Women's Under-19 squad going to the Asia Cup.
