China announced 10pc tariff on crude oil imports from US


Beijing: China has responded to the US imposing a 10 percent tariff on Chinese imports.
China has announced a 15 percent tariff on LNG and coal imports from the US.
According to a foreign news agency, China has announced a 10 percent tariff on crude oil imports from the US.
According to the Chinese Ministry of Commerce, a 10 percent tariff will also be imposed on agricultural machinery and pickup trucks imported from the US.
The Ministry of Commerce says that the US measures are a serious violation of World Trade Organization rules.
It is pertinent to note that two days ago, US President Trump imposed new tariffs on major trading partners China, Canada, and Mexico.
Implementing the threats, Donald Trump signed an order to impose tariffs on the three countries.
On the other hand, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has claimed that US President Donald Trump has agreed not to increase tariffs on Canadians for the time being, like Mexico.
According to US media, Donald Trump announced the suspension of tariffs after Canada and Mexico tightened border controls.
